Sports Injury Massage

This is a style of massage that focuses specifically on problems created through our everyday actions, especially from regular physical exercise using a combination of soft tissue and deep tissue massage techniques, with specific exercises for you to do between visits. This is a series of weekly massages, usually once a week for 4 weeks then once a fortnight for 4 sessions then once a month for as long as you wish to continue. As these sessions are occurring you will be given very precise exercises to do, that at first might seem random, as they will work specific muscles or muscle groups in specific ways to counter the everyday stresses you have placed upon them, to bring about full flexibility. As you progress through the sessions these exercises will change and eventually end up with a short ten minute exercise program for you to follow so that you do not have a reoccurrence for the initial stress or pain.
